These photos were taken by my dad when
he served on the USS Hancock (CV-19) during 1957 in the USMC. I know he used
a 35mm camera he bought in Japan and it had a relatively fast lens (1.7 or 1.8).
These are both Vought F7U Cutlasses.
These are a couple of Douglas AD Skyraiders. The ship in the background is the USS
Bon Homme Richard (CV-31).
I believe these are all North American FJ-3 Furys.
This is a McDonnel F2H Banshee.
This is a Piasecki (Vertol) HUP Retriever ultility helicopter.
